On January 8, Wednesday, the first show of the national "Eurovizija.lt" selection will be filmed in the LRT studio, which will be shown on January 11. The first 9 contestants will appear on this show. However, it is still not clear which nine performers will face each other in this particular show.
As with last year, not all songs are revealed at once, and the songs that do appear do not identify which selection show they will compete in. For now, artist EWA and rock band Euften are calling for support on January 11 under the captions.
The first selection show will feature:
- EWA with "Tell Me Lie";
- Euften" with the song "Goodbye Hell";
The other 5 songs that have been presented to Eurovision viewers so far. However, it is not clear which selection show these songs will appear on:
- Donata with the song "Empower". It is not known in which show he will appear;
- "Hansanova" with the song "Leilydo". According to the group, we will hear the song "Leilydo" in the second selection show, on January 18;
- Indrė and Laimonas will appear in the auditions with the Christmas song "Namo". The duo will appear in the third selection show. It will be possible to vote for the song on January 25;
- Sophie Ali with The Bluest Bell;
- "Vilia" with the song "You can't touch".
Will show five selected shows
The 45 songs participating in the competition are randomly divided into five groups. Spectators will be able to watch and choose songs worthy of the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest for five Saturdays. Two songs from each qualifying show will go to the finals based on the votes of the audience and the commission.
The winning song will be announced in mid-February
On January 11, Saturday, the video will be shown on LRT. It will be possible to vote for participants only when all 9 participants appear. After the voting, after summing up the votes of the commission and the audience, it will become clear which two participants will travel to prepare for the final in February. The final of the music competition will be broadcast live on February 15. from Žalgiris Arena. All selection shows and the final will be shown on LRT television and on the LRT.lt portal on Saturdays, from 21.00:XNUMX p.m.
