The 2024 Summer Olympic Games, which were really successful for Lithuania, ended on Sunday evening in Paris.
Lithuania won even four medals. This is the fourth result in the entire history of Lithuania's participation in the Games.
Lithuania took 70th place in the overall medal count, ahead of India (71st place, 1 silver and 5 bronze awards), Moldova (72nd place, 1 silver, 3 bronze medals).
Unfortunately, no Latvija, nor did Estonia win a single medal in Paris.
Discus thrower Mykolas Alekna and break dancer Dominika Banevič-B Girl Nicka won silver medals for Lithuania, rower Viktorija Senkutė and the Lithuanian trio basketball team, consisting of Aurelijus Pukelis, Gintautas Matulis, Evaldas Džiaugys and Šarūnas Vingelis, won bronze medals.
