On Friday, a new artistic, educational and entertainment park of light installations will be presented to the residents and guests of the city of Vilnius, where visitors will be invited to embark on a journey of learning about light Vilnius University (VU) in the botanical garden in Kairenai. The exhibition features original works created by Lithuanian and Polish artists, which will introduce visitors not only to natural natural light sources, but also those created by man. The project is included in the list of events of the Vilnius University program dedicated to the 700th birthday of Vilnius.
The park of light installations is located in nature, in the unique environment of VU botanical garden in Kairėnai. Walking along the almost 2 km long path, visitors will discover places of the garden that they have never seen before, and they will see the already familiar in a different light.
The works of Polish and Lithuanian creators, made in various techniques, will be exhibited until February. The artistic composition of "home fire" combines two installations: "Lumina Dome" by Lithuanian artist Mantas Maziliauskas and "Fire" by Polish artist Jaroslaw Koziaros. J. Koziara will also present the artistic work "The Sun". Olena Glinka will present two works to visitors - "Abstract Masks" and "Mushrooms". The composition "Aurora Borealis" by artist Marta Basandowska is created using StringArt technology. More than 12 km of fluorescent strips and rubber bands were used for the installation.
We want to ask you, have you already visited the new Kairenai light installation park?
