Traffic light-controlled intersections in the capital have been redesigned, giving priority to pedestrians and cyclists, in order to encourage sustainable mobility and taking into account the mobility habits of residents. The average waiting time at pedestrian crossings has been reduced by almost 30 percent - from 47 to 33,5 seconds.
Over the past few years, 132 intersections have been redesigned in Vilnius, where the solutions installed not only help pedestrians cross the street faster, but also contribute to greater traffic safety.
We want to ask you, are you satisfied with the changes that have been made to traffic light-controlled intersections in the capital?
