Another commercial building will get a more modern look: "Medeinas Street" is being demolishedRimi" store. Instead of the old "Rimi" in this place, a new shopping center "Rimi" will be built. The company's website states that the "Rimi Pašilaičiai" store is closed for reconstruction.
More than thirty years ago, this shopping center was called "PC Pašilaičiai", which changed names over the years: it was "Troja", later "EKO", and finally became "Rimi".
The two-story building is being constructed by the Estonian-owned company UAB Capital Mill. The new store is scheduled to open its doors in 2026, less than a year from now.
