Vilnius city municipality approved the construction of "The British School of Vilnius" school. The school will be built in Vilnius Innovation Industry Park on Miškadvarios Street, near Kairenai.
As the initiators of the project announced back in May, the school campus, which will open its doors in the fall of 2023, will have infrastructure for four sports in addition to the school itself: a 25-meter indoor swimming pool, a gym, a basketball court, outdoor sports areas, including a full-sized football field and outdoor tennis courts. There will also be art and technology laboratories, a music classroom with a recording studio and a large library.
The complex will occupy 12 thousand sq. m. territory, the school building itself will be about 4 thousand sq. m. size. In the long run, about 400 children should study here and 50 teachers and other employees should work here.
