In the first meeting of the architecture and urban planning expert council of the Vilnius branch of the Lithuanian Union of Architects this year, two projects were discussed.
First project: of the plot T. Kosciuškos str. 32, the detailed plan correction solutions prepared by UAB "Senojo miesto architektai" were presented by architect Diana Sabaliauskienė, and the design proposals of the multi-apartment residential complex prepared by UAB "Arches" by architect Edgaras Neniškis.
Authors of the object: architects Diana Sabaliauskienė and Violeta Miciūtė for the detailed plan adjustment, and architects Edgaras Neniškis, Andrius Uogintas and Enrika Geštautaitė for the design proposals for multi-apartment residential houses.
Most of the experts who participated in the meeting basically agreed with the location of the plot in T. Kosciuškos st. 32, in Vilnius, for detailed plan correction solutions and project proposals of a multi-apartment residential complex with comments.
It was noted that the authors of the works presented a detailed urban analysis of the territory, a reasonable and analyzed connection of the designed buildings with the environmental context, and a harmonious and correct volume composition. In the further course of the design, it was recommended to combine the mutually adjusted plot T. Kosciuškos g. 32, in Vilnius, inconsistencies between the detailed plan and the construction intensity calculations of the project proposals of the multi-apartment residential complex.
It is also recommended to find ways to emphasize the residential purpose of the buildings in the architectural expression, preserving the volumetric composition presented in the project proposals. And evaluate the comments of public representatives regarding Vilnius city municipalities 6.1 of the general plan of the territory. and 6.2. compliance of solutions (Gintautas Tiškus) and due to excessive urbanization of the plot on the river side (Alvydas Žickis).
Second project: administrative building Didžioji st. 18, reconstruction project proposals prepared by UAB "Vilniaus architektus studija" were presented by architects Kęstutis Pempė and Vytautas Lukoševičius. Reviewed by Linas Naujokaitis and Irena Kliobavičiūtė. Authors of the object: architects Kęstutis Pempė, Vytautas Lukoševičius and Ieva Sirijitavičiūtė.
All the experts who participated in the meeting approved the reconstruction of the administrative building Didžioji g. 18, in Vilnius, for raising the roof with notes. Vytautas Biekša refrained - in his opinion, it is a type of roof that remembers its era and should not be changed. Saulius Motieka did not agree - he submitted his opinion in a letter (he did not agree to such a direct transformation of the roof, the existing attic must hide the roof, and the opposite is achieved - it is highlighted).
In the further design process, work on the shape of the skylights, emphasizing their era and searching for details and color solutions. Particular attention should be paid to the solutions of the firewall (old and new), visible from Pilies and Savičius streets.
