Hanner representatives informed journalists about the opening of the new stadium, inviting them to the opening event.
The stadium has a real artificial surface, 300-seat stands with a covered roof are installed. The nearby building is equipped with changing rooms, showers, a gym, and administrative facilities, and convenient access and parking spaces have been provided.
In April, A. Avulis said that a total of 2,5 million Hanner and D. Šerno's investments in the stadium will pay off in 10 years.
According to Darvydas Šernos, the project's customer, a former professional football player and head of VFA, compared to other European capitals, the football infrastructure in Vilnius is at a low level. Without a favorable business approach to the football situation, it would be difficult to achieve ambitious goals.
"Hanner-VFA" stadium will be able to be used by "Vilnius Football Academy" and other schools, professional clubs, and others. It will also be possible to organize international competitions.
