Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) has announced an auction to sell a historical building complex in the Antakalnis microdistrict of the capital, at Valakupių g. 5. The starting price of the complex, which consists of 5 buildings and courtyard structures, is 11 million. Eur. The auction will take place on 2025-27 May 28 on the Evarzytynes.lt platform.
Nestled among pine forests, just a few minutes from the city center, this complex has been a silent witness to thousands of stories for many years: first lectures, graduation ceremonies, academic discussions, and the daily lives of students. For many years, it has been a forge for officials and legislative specialists, contributing to the strengthening of the foundations of the state.
This was the former Lithuanian Police Academy, later the Lithuanian Law University, and more recently the faculties of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU). Within these walls, not only officers and law and public administration specialists were trained - people grew here, ideas were formed, acquaintances were made, and career paths were born.

The building complex – dormitory, training building, shooting range, garages, etc. – is being sold as a whole, but without the land plot, which belongs to the state and is the trustee of which is the National Land Service (NLS).
