Permits to build semi-detached houses in Kalnėnai, near Gurii gardens, were issued legally. This was decided by the Panevėžys District Court, which satisfied the complaints of the Vilnius Municipality and the builders.
The court announced last week that according to the detailed plan, low-rise individual structures can be built on the plots, and the technical regulation of the construction stipulated that the house can be one-family, two-family or semi-detached. Therefore, according to the court, it was possible to build five single-family detached houses here.
The court overturned the decision of the Vilnius City District Court made in February - it revoked the construction permits of the houses on Airių Street, and also rejected the claims of the Building Inspectorate.
In court, the Building Inspectorate sought to cancel the three permits issued to the municipal company Centaurus investment group, and to oblige the company Buta and natural persons to rebuild the buildings.
The portal 15min.lt wrote that in 2015 construction permits were issued to the company "Centaurus investment group". The company "Remarkas" designed five single-family houses in the area, but instead of one 90 sq. meter area house on one 10-acre plot, almost 450 sq. meter house.
The company "Centaurus investment group" sold two plots to the company "Buta", and the third plot was sold to private individuals.
