In 2017, the Archdiocese of Vilnius announced that a pilgrim's house with hotel-type accommodation would be established in the Missionary Church near the bastion. Pilgrims from all over the world will be able to stay in the facilities established in the monastery buildings, tourists, entrepreneurs.
Currently, the work of adapting the Missionary Ensemble to the needs of pilgrims is continuing, the preparation of the technical project is being completed, and coordination with the responsible institutions has begun. Renovation work will be planned when all necessary permits have been obtained, taking into account funding sources.
After the reconstruction, the church spaces will be used for conferences, concerts, cultural and pastoral events. The design proposals also envisage the arrangement of the plot, restoring and supplementing the old system of paths and passages, where additional parking spaces will be installed to meet the needs of the hotel.
