They want to build an eye clinic on Žalgiris Street

in Vilnius city municipality new design proposals presenting the eye clinic building will be considered. The commercial building currently on the site would be demolished and replaced by a six-story medical building.

"A public building - LIREMA eye clinic - is being designed on the plot. The facility will be used to provide eye surgery services, provide consulting services and conduct medical research related to eye treatment. Commercial (optical and pharmacy) and administrative (workrooms) premises are planned in the building. An underground is being designed under the building parking lot. The entrance to the territory is planned on the southeast side of the plot from Trimitä st. An underground parking lot is being designed in the southern part of the plot," the project proposals say about the future clinic.

The project proposals also indicate that the plot will aim for the green areas of the plot to exceed 15% of the plot area. Since there will not be enough land in the ground area (next to the building) to achieve this goal, landscaping is designed for the inner courtyard of the second floor (113.5 m²) and part of the roof of the sixth floor (165.5 m²). A roof terrace would also be formed on this top floor - intended for employees, from which the Gediminas Tower could possibly be seen. It is planned to install a three-story underground parking lot for the building.

We would like to remind you that a fast food restaurant "Jammi" is planned to be built on the adjacent plot. In December we wrote that a building permit has already been obtained for the implementation of this restaurant project.
