Booking Holdings, the operator of the international online accommodation booking platform booking.com JAV Restaurant booking company OpenTable has established a company in Lithuania.
According to the Center of Registers, OpenTable Lithuania was founded in Vilnius, and US citizen Sagar V. Mehta was appointed as its head.
OpenTable states on its website that, in addition to Lithuania and the United States, the company has offices in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Mexico. Founded 25 years ago, the company serves more than 60 restaurants, bars, wineries, and other food establishments worldwide.
“It’s an easy way for customers to discover new restaurants, get personalized recommendations, data-driven lists and guides, and make reservations through the app,” says OpenTable.
The US company also announced on LinkedIn a month ago that it had signed a deal with ride-hailing giant Uber.
In addition, OpenTable is advertising a job opening for a programmer to work with restaurant marketing at Kayak Lithuania, another Booking Group company. The prospective specialist is being offered a salary of 3-4,5 euros before taxes.
According to the Center of Registers, the authorized capital of OpenTable Lithuania amounts to 15 thousand euros.
