Having a specialized bank license, Revolut Bank has started active expansion in the Central and Eastern European region by offering deposit insurance-insured accounts to customers in Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia, in Latvia, in Malta, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. Users of the global financial platform "Revolut" who have chosen to become customers of the bank will be able to use other banking services in the future, which Revolut Bank intends to gradually expand throughout the region.
Representatives of the fast-growing bank are confident that deposit accounts, together with other services provided in the Revolut app, will provide customers with even more effective control over their finances, more value and security compared to traditional banks.

The European Central Bank granted Revolut Bank a specialized bank license at the request of the Bank of Lithuania. Last year, Revolut introduced a specialized bank in Lithuania and Poland and has already started offering credit services here - consumer loans and credit cards. A specialized bank license allows Revolut Bank to provide banking services through the Revolut app.
