With the start of summer, starting from June 1, part of the Lithuanian retail chain "Maxima"shop opening hours - more than 30 stores in various Lithuanian cities and towns will close their doors later than usual. The changes are most noticeable in seaside resorts - residents and city guests will be able to shop even until midnight.
"In the summer, we notice changes in customer flows, so we are reacting to them and changing the working hours of some Maxima stores accordingly - starting from June 1, some of the chain's stores will close their doors an hour later, some will open an hour earlier, and the working hours of several stores will be extended by as much as three hours," comments Indrė Trakimaitė-Šeškuvienė, Director of the Maxima Communication and Corporate Relations Department.
She points out that the opening hours of Maxima stores in more than 20 Lithuanian cities and towns are changing during the warm season. Maxima stores will be open the longest in seaside resorts.
"Vacationers arriving at the seaside will no longer have to choose between sunset and shopping for the next day - our stores in Palanga and Šventoji will be open from 7 am, in Nida - from 8 am, and all will be closed 24 hours a day," says I. Trakimaitė-Šeškuvienė.
