Revolut launches new service in Lithuania: invites you to register

Revolut Bank, which has over 600 customers in Lithuania, today announced the launch of its home loan refinancing service. Lithuania will be the first market where Revolut will test and launch home loans. The service is currently only available to a limited number of Revolut customers in Lithuania, but those interested in refinancing their home loan can sign up for the waiting list directly in the Revolut app.

It will be possible to refinance an existing mortgage loan directly in the Revolut app, the bank will offer competitive interest rates, will not charge any administration fees, and customers will be able to manage their loan directly in the app.

Revolut is the first in the Lithuanian market to introduce a pre-approved personal loan offer, allowing consumers to find out their mortgage refinancing interest rate and refinancing terms in minutes, directly in the Revolut app. As is customary with Revolut, the loan refinancing application process is designed to be efficient and user-friendly, and the application form is significantly shorter compared to traditional service providers.

Revolut will offer competitive interest rates and flexible repayment terms to customers refinancing their mortgage loans. Customers will be able to refinance loans from €35 to €000, with repayment terms of up to 1 years (depending on the individual case).

Revolut will also take care of the client's property valuation and notary fees, saving clients time and money. However, clients should note that their previous bank may apply prepayment or other fees when refinancing a mortgage.

Every customer refinancing their loan will be able to consult with a personal mortgage manager who will provide personal assistance throughout the application process, if necessary. Mortgage management will be fully integrated into the Revolut app, so refinancers will be able to easily manage prepayments, change repayment dates and monitor all information about their loan at any time.

“We are delighted that our customers in Lithuania will be the first to try out the home refinancing service. With the entry into force of the simplified home loan refinancing rules, we invite customers to compare the Revolut offer with their current interest rates as soon as the service becomes available to them. By refinancing their home loan with Revolut, Lithuanian customers will be able to get competitive interest rates without any additional fees and save money. We have ensured that this process is as simple and transparent as possible, and that each customer receives personal assistance if necessary,” says Joe Heneghan, CEO of Revolut Bank.

Those interested in the mortgage refinancing service can now join the waiting list directly in the Revolut app (Accounts – Add new – Credit – Mortgage refinancing). To do this, you need to download the latest version of the Revolut app and, if you are not already, become a Revolut Bank customer. Initially, early access will be provided to a small group of customers, which will gradually increase. The bank also plans to start providing loans for the purchase of housing to Lithuanian customers this year.
