Joint-stock company Lietuvos paštas continues the modernization of post offices. Today, a modern customer service center opened its doors in renovated premises in the Antakalnis microdistrict of the capital - Vilnius 40th post office, equipped according to the new concept of Lithuanian Post.
"We created the vision of the new concept customer service center based on surveys of their opinions and expectations, which show that customers want to receive quality postal services, to be served helpfully and comfortably. Therefore, we are making efforts to make using the services provided by Lithuanian Post convenient and pleasant", said Inga Dundulienė, Director of the Network of Lithuanian Post.
The 40th post office of Vilnius welcomes residents from today at the address Antakalnio st. 75. And customers of the 55th Post Office in Vilnius will continue to be served at the post office at Antakalnio St. 50.
The new customer service department of Lithuanian Post has installed a customer flow management system and modern parcel storage and delivery equipment, which will help ensure prompt customer service. There is also a self-service shop at the post office, where customers can choose and purchase a variety of packing materials and other goods from an updated range. The new premises are equipped with more comfortable workplaces for employees.
"From now on, it will be more convenient for the distributors and postmen of the 40th post office in Vilnius to do their work: new workplaces have been installed that make it easier to process mail, employees who serve customers at the counter will work in a more open environment, so that they can help customers in the hall faster." - said I. Dundulienė.
In the modernized Vilnius 40th post office, residents will now be able to use both postal and financial services (in the integrated "PayPost" section): send and collect postal items, subscribe to press publications, pay taxes, send and collect money transfers, get a consumer loan, insure property and not only.
In 2017, Lithuanian Post modernized three of the capital's post offices according to a new concept, as well as modern and modern Lithuanian Post customer service centers were installed in Akademia (Kaunas district) and Šeduva (Radviliškis district).
