More and more often, food and snacks for work events or personal celebrations are taken care of in this way. Large orders in the last 12 months also included delivering 32 units of salted caramel to a customer at one time macaroon cookies, 32 pieces of ground beef and 30 fruit smoothies.
Even more impressive shopping carts are fixed in Latvia and in Estonia. The Latvian neighbors have ordered 65 hamburgers with cheese, half a dozen portions of crispy chicken and packages of chewing gum at one time using the app. 46 units of daily lunch portions and 40 packages of nuts were delivered at one time.
Real record holders of large orders are Estonians. They have ordered as many as 100 cheeseburgers at one time. The order, which consisted of 90 cakes, was also close to the record. Estonians have also ordered 50 portions of pasta with chicken and 42 Kyiv meatballs at one time.
"Large orders seem to be quite a challenge for restaurants, but the latter are assessing their ability to fulfill them. This is also a challenge for courier-partners, which they usually manage very well. Residents usually place large orders in the app while preparing for various celebrations, parties and picnics. "Wolt for Work" service orders, when food is ordered to offices, are a significant part of large orders," says Mantas Lomsargis, Acting General Director of "Wolt Baltics".
According to M. Lomsargis, more and more companies are giving their employees the opportunity not to worry about lunch and to order it to the office. If many colleagues are dining together, the order can be quite large. In this case, it is very convenient to use the group order function - everyone can easily choose what they want to eat, and the whole order arrives together. However, the largest orders are received when companies organize various celebrations, team formations and others events.
