The government agreed Ministry of Culture for the proposal to establish a public institution, the National Concert Hall.
The Ministry of Culture will represent the state as the founder of the public institution National Concert Hall and will implement the property and non-property rights and duties of the state as the owner of this public institution.
At this stage of the development of the National Concert Hall project, it is important to start forming the content of the future National Concert Hall, therefore it is necessary to establish an institution that will take over the administration of the National Concert Hall building in the future.
in 2024 October 1 a contract was signed for the construction of the National Concert Hall building, it should be built by 2030.
The National Concert Hall will organize concerts, performances and other events in Lithuania and abroad, prepare research, educational, information and advertising publications, publications related to the activities of the institution, engage in their publishing and distribution, prepare and implement cultural education projects.
