The company notified the service about the layoffs on December 16.
The director of Mantinga Logistics, Alius Maknavičius Eltai, said that the company decided to stop one of the company's activities - transportation services for companies not related to the food company Mantinga.
"It is a strategic decision to abandon activities that are not directly related to our core business. Our main activity is the production of food products and everything else that touches the service of that activity, while the transportation activity was provided to companies completely unrelated to the company group and the activity was concentrated in Europe," he said.
