The country's largest bakery "Vilniaus duona" received as much as 3,1 million. EUR investment from the company's owner Lantmännen Unibake. For this money, "Vilniaus duona" will modernize one of the baking lines in Vilnius and create conditions for creating innovative products.
According to Artūrs Kokoškins, marketing manager of "Vilniaus duonas", more than 3 million invested EUR XNUMX in the Lantmännen Unibake company in order to further strengthen the position of the bakery in Lithuania. According to the manager, such a decision by Lantmännen Unibake proves the importance of the Baltic region.
"Although "Vilniaus duona" is the leading bakery in Lithuania, this investment will be a significant tool for further increasing our competitiveness. We are already planning the modernization processes of one of the lines in the bakery in Vilnius - this way we will increase the efficiency of the bakery and be able to reduce labor and energy costs", says A. Kokoškinas.
In addition, the modernized bakery line will also allow the company "Vilniaus duona" to create new products - the kind that the company has not been able to bake in Lithuania until now.
"We intend to present the new products not only in Lithuania, but also in other Baltic countries - we will also supply them to Latvian bakery Hanzas Maiznica and Estonian Leibur," says A. Kokoškinas.
According to the company's marketing manager, the bakery's ambitious plans are dictated by the changing needs of consumers - in order to meet consumer expectations, the company must constantly improve and expand the range of products offered.
