Co-working centers (English hubs), which are now in their ninth year in Lithuania, have so far not had one among them where only architects and interior designers gather. Home decoration center "Unideco" is stepping into unknown territory - it will soon establish a new space in the premises. In the shopping center, visitors will find all home furnishing tools and receive professional consultations, and specialists will be able to carry out the work conveniently and in one place.
Global and Lithuanian practices show that co-working spaces are becoming an increasingly attractive place for specialists to gather and work. They share ideas, collaborate, open the door to creativity, and often lead to innovation. Professionals are provided with a great working atmosphere, leisure and even entertainment spaces are offered. In the meantime, Unideco specialists will be enticed not only by a comfortable, well-equipped workplace, a meeting space with conference equipment, and a quality coffee machine, but also by the opportunity to immediately provide all the information to the client. Having visited the home decoration center located in Vilnius, North Town, settlers or customers who are renovating their existing housing will be able to plan the vision of the housing together with the designer or architect, inspect the offered materials and discover the solutions they like the most.

Audrius Mockus, the manager of the company Šklēriai, which manages the shopping center, says that Unideco itself was born from the idea of bringing together all dealers in finishing materials under one roof. According to him, a person who decides to furnish a home usually faces many questions, so it is extremely useful to have an interior designer to help find the right answers: "After seeing the difficulties faced by visitors, we began to look for ways to transform the shopping center into a place where the customer not only finds finishing materials, but also receive professional advice. Later, we decided that it would be convenient for the designers and the materials that are used to furnish the housing to be located in one place."
Unideco marketing manager Viktorija Urbelytė, who is happy with the successfully implemented project, agrees that the new spaces are extremely relevant not only for the professional community, but also for customers who are installing or renovating their homes. "Interior design salons, interior designers, architects and visitors of the center will be gathered in one place. This means that practically everyone will benefit from it. And the people who are setting up their houses will win the most. When they come to the shopping center, they will see all the materials they may need for finishing or decorating work, and at the same time they will receive professional advice. Housing installation is a complex process, there are always many doubts. We will try to disperse them", says the specialist.

The smallest co-working space
"Unideco" representatives assure that the new space is the smallest in Lithuania, but they believe that it will not remain so for long. According to the head of the company, this experiment aims to find out the demand for such a project and the expectations of users. "We only have six jobs because we are trying to implement a non-standard concept. The collaboration center is experimental and designed for a specialized community. This test will reveal the pluses and minuses of such a project, answer the questions that arise, and then we will be able to develop the idea," A. Mockus shares his plans.
V.Urbelytė emphasizes that even being extremely small, the collaboration center opens up many possibilities: "Behind the glass partitions there is a wider space that transforms into an area for events, meetings, presentations or various seminars." It is freely available to our designers and architects."

According to the marketing manager, the company does not hide its ambitions to improve. There are many opportunities for development - in Lithuania, co-working spaces are increasingly proving themselves and are popular with the new generation of specialists. More than one space has already grown new communities, whose members have created more than one large-scale project by sharing their experiences. The cooperation center opened by Unideco has no analogues in the country.
Today, the premises of the shopping center are constantly organized events, intended for both clients and professionals. They present the latest trends in interior design and finishing materials, you can hear valuable advice on how to functionally use the living space, how to adapt it to your needs. More than 33 different specialized decoration and interior salons are located in Unideco. From now on, customers will not only receive professional consultations here, but will also meet their own interior designer or architect working in the co-working space.
