One of Europe's largest transportation service platforms "Bolt"announces that this year they will start delivering food to homes. The new service will reach European and African countries, but not all of them can expect changes at the same time.
Bolt has always been a completely user-centric platform. One of the best examples of this is the very fact that we have created a successful company that offers the best prices for passengers and the best conditions for drivers. We spend less but grow faster than any other ride-hailing platform in the world. Now we want to take this model to food delivery services. Our technology, operational network and hundreds of thousands of drivers will allow us to create the most convenient food delivery system for millions of Bolt users in Europe and Africa," says Bolt CEO Markus Villig.
The specific date when the company will start delivering food in Lithuania has not yet been announced. First, this summer, the food delivery service will start operating in Estonia, Finland and the Republic of South Africa.
"We are already receiving a number of inquiries from restaurants, cafes and other catering establishments about their plans to deliver the food they prepare in Lithuania. We cannot yet name the exact start date in our country, but we invite everyone who is interested to write us an e-mail. by post [email protected]. All registered users will be the first to be informed about the start of delivery services in Lithuania", says Andrius Pacevičius, head of Bolt in Lithuania.
Recently, Taxify rebranded and changed its name to Bolt to create an identity that more clearly reflects the company's transportation vision. Today, the platform can be used in different countries to call a driver with a car or motorcycle, as well as to rent scooters or even a rickshaw.
