Crypto asset company SG Veteris Lithuania, managed by Cyprus-registered asset management company SG Veteris Holdings, is laying off all 36 employees.
The company reported this to the Employment Service.
"Reasons for dismissal - Article 54 of the Labor Code (termination of the contract by agreement of the parties - BNS), changes in the company's business needs," the service reported to BNS.
According to her, executives, managers, software developers, engineers and other employees are being laid off.
According to the Registry Center, the sole shareholder of the company, SG Veteris Holdings, decided in September to stop operating as a virtual currency wallet and exchange operator in Lithuania.
BNS could not contact the company "SG Veteris Lithuania".
According to Rekvizitai.lt, "SG Veteris Lithuania", established three years ago in Vilnius, owed 19,5 thousand to the State Tax Inspectorate in May of this year. euros, but the debt was paid in June.

SG Veteris' website says it was founded in 2016 and currently has offices in the UK, Bulgaria and Estonia, employing a total of 70 people.
