Šiaulių bankas is increasing the prices of some services from next year, at that time "Swedbank"there are no plans to change the rates yet, and SEB bankas does not comment on its plans, representatives of the banks told BNS.
Monika Rožytė, head of Šiaulių bankas' communication group, told BNS that some of the rates will change from January 1.
"We review the prices every year, this year is no exception. After evaluating the behavior of customers and their needs, the cost structure and pricing of services, the rates will be changed from January 1. From today, new rates and conditions for everyday banking, documentary settlements and guarantees, credit and leasing, investment and other services will come into effect for private and business customers," M. Rožytė told BNS.
The bank announces that closing an account for private customers is 1,8 to 6 euros more expensive, for all customers money transfers related to foreign currencies and countries that are not members of the European Payments Market (SEPA) are more expensive.
Swedbank's public relations representative Daiva Taučkėlaitė told BNS that the bank is not going to change the prices of services.
"At the moment, we are not planning any changes in the field of rates in the bank", said D. Taučkėlaitė.
SEB's spokeswoman Ieva Dauguvietytė-Daskevičienė did not indicate whether service prices will change in the near future, but said that such a possibility is under constant consideration.
"SEB Bank constantly monitors the changing situation, assesses the needs of customers, incurred service costs (...) and accordingly adjusts the pricing of services if necessary. Customers are always informed about planned price changes in advance", said I. Dauguvietytė-Daskevičienė.
On Thursday, Luminor confirmed that some bank services will become more expensive from February next year, Revolut reported on the increased rates of paid services.
