Joint-stock company Lietuvos paštas continues to improve and modernize its operations. Today, a modern customer service center built according to the new concept of the Lithuanian Post opened its doors in the premises of the "ŽALI" shopping center (Visalaukio St. 1) in the Balsių microdistrict of the capital - Vilnius 58th Post Office.
"The Balsi community is growing rapidly - almost 10 people have already settled in this microdistrict. socially active population. It is natural that modern people live full lives: they shop in electronic stores, send and receive parcels from relatives, pay installments, send postcards and registered correspondence, so the post office has become a necessity here - like a kindergarten, school or shop. The post office has to follow its customers, so the residents of Balsių will be able to use all the modern services of the Lithuanian Post," says Vaida Budrienė, Head of the Corporate Affairs Department of the Lithuanian Post.
The New Vilnius 58th post office is equipped taking into account the changing needs of customers to receive and send parcels conveniently and quickly: in the new post office, parcel delivery racks are installed next to the service worker, so that it is possible to find and deliver the parcel faster, and customers of the self-service system manosiuntos.lt can leave without queuing at a special box.
There is also a self-service shop in the newly installed post office, where customers can choose and purchase a variety of packaging materials and other goods from the updated range. In addition, the new premises are equipped with more comfortable workplaces that make it easier to process mail, and postal workers who serve customers at the counter work in a more open environment to help customers in the hall more quickly.
In 2018, Lithuanian Post has already installed 8 post offices in Vilnius and its district according to the new concept.
