The technology and innovation festival LOGIN, which will be held for the thirteenth year, presents the first news and announcements of the conference flash sale - advance ticket sales. Next year, on June 6-7, the festival not only returns to "Litexpo" spaces, refuses to pay in cash, but continues to expand its range of topics, inviting discussion about current tech societal challenges - the integration of women in the technology market.
A new director, Indrė Petrauskė, who previously managed projects at a media planning agency, is also at the helm of LOGIN.
"Business, technology and creativity are the three main axes that will remain the basis of LOGIN this year as well. We will focus on digital industry innovation news, global business trends, ideas and inspiring personalities. Of course, as always, LOGIN's main guest will surprise you, and as one of the largest technology events in the Baltic region, gathering innovative, modern people, we will invite global and national tech on topics that are extremely relevant to the public today, - says the new director of LOGIN, Indrė Petrauskė. - We will have a separate presentation session at the conference, where we will share the practices of foreign and Lithuanian speakers in promoting gender equality in business, and we will especially emphasize the integration of women in the technology market. The first step is to give away three hundred DIVERSITY PASS tickets to women after the pre-sale starts."

The manager of the festival notes that, according to statistics, 74% of girls are interested in career opportunities in the field of technology, 28 percent. of them acquire ICT-related education, 25 percent. of graduates start working in this field, but over time even 41% of them decide to change their career direction. "On a global scale, there are constant discussions on how to ensure the integration of women in the technology market, and on a national scale we have such inspiring initiatives as "Women Go Tech", "Vilnius Girls Code", activities and events of individual IT companies, so, in turn, we feel a strong obligation to contribute more actively to promoting equality in particular."
The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) also predicts that the rapid reduction of the gender gap in STEM studies could have a significant impact on the EU economy as well. It is predicted that by 2050 the gross domestic product per capita would increase by 3 percent, up to 820 billion. euros, and an additional 1,2 million would be created. job places. In our country, the gender distribution in the field of technology is close to the EU average, and the changes in the choice of study areas and in the labor market are relatively slow.
In addition to the innovation of this program, another new direction of the festival's content LOGIN WELLNESS will be presented - solutions based on traditional methods and innovations for a healthier human lifestyle will be presented. The messages of this content will talk more about the positive influence of technology and innovation on everyday human life - quality of life, health, healthy lifestyle, etc. Festival participants will be able not only to hear presentations on these topics, but also to participate in practical sessions, get acquainted with the latest sustainable and eco thinking inspired products up close.
