The largest Toyota car dealer in Lithuania, the company Tokvila, will begin the reconstruction of its new car showroom located on Žalgirio Street in Vilnius on May 31. By implementing the latest Toyota Motor Europe showroom concept and customer service philosophy, approximately 1,3 million euros will be invested in the project. The reconstruction work is planned to be completed in September of this year.
Consistent investment in innovation and quality
According to Gintautas Ignotas, CEO of Tokvila, the decision to substantially renovate the new Toyota car showroom reflects the company's long-term strategy - to be a market leader, constantly adapting to changing customer needs and technological progress.
"We consistently invest in the quality delivery of Toyota cars and the highest level of customer service - we are constantly updating the infrastructure. Over the past year, we have significantly expanded the parking lot of the new car showroom, installed electric vehicle charging stations, and expanded the main service premises. Now it is time to take another important step - to implement the latest Toyota showroom concept, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and a modern working environment for our employees," says G. Ignotas.
The showroom located on Žalgirio Street opened its doors back in 2004, so this reconstruction is a natural step in renewal, allowing us to adapt to the latest Toyota car sales trends in Europe and the world.
Modern and customer-friendly salon
The new showroom concept is based on Toyota Motor Europe’s innovative “Frontline for Tomorrow” philosophy, which focuses on the quality of the customer experience. According to it, the functions of traditional sales consultants are partially taken over by professional product experts. They are responsible for more effective customer introduction to cars and their smart features, test drives, smooth car handover and other sales processes.
The renovated showroom will feature open, interactive technology-enhanced spaces designed for comfortable waiting, consultations, and work in the showroom. A single common entrance will help new car buyers and service customers navigate more easily and enjoy the cozy atmosphere in the showroom.
The employees' working environment will also undergo changes: an advanced air ventilation and conditioning system, ergonomic furniture, energy-saving and eye-strain-reducing lighting are being installed. It is expected that the modern working environment will not only increase employee motivation, but also allow for even better customer service.
Customer service during reconstruction
During the reconstruction period, Toyota's main service, customer consultation and car pick-up will be carried out as usual on Žalgirio Street. A temporary office is being set up next to the existing building, where customers will be able to comfortably wait for their cars to be serviced.
Meanwhile, the main functions of new car sales – Toyota showrooms, test drives and sales teams – will temporarily move to the second Tokvila showroom at Savanorių pr. 274. This location has so far been reserved for used Toyota Approved and new commercial Toyota Professional cars. Starting from May 31, customers are invited to come and choose new Toyota models here.
A step into the future mobility market
According to Gintautas Ignotas, this investment clearly reflects the company's approach to the future and commitment to customers - to constantly improve, offer advanced mobility solutions, and shape market trends in Lithuania.
"This is more than just a showroom renovation - it is part of our vision, through which we aim to create long-term value for customers and employees, while contributing to the growth of the quality of the entire Lithuanian automotive market," notes the head of Tokvila.
The reconstruction works are planned to be completed in September, and the renewed showroom will become the most modern and most customer and employee-oriented Toyota showroom in Lithuania. This ambition is also reflected in the prestigious Toyota manufacturer award "Ichiban" (from the Japanese "number one") presented to "Tokvila" this year for the best quality of customer service in Lithuania.
