One of the largest commercial banks in Lithuania, SEB, became the official main partner of the technology and innovation festival LOGIN - a two-year cooperation agreement was signed. The festival, which will be held for the thirteenth year, returns to "Litexpo"spaces where more than 6 thousand almost 130 speakers from Lithuania and foreign countries will listen to the participants.
"We are joining the Login community at the Technology, Creativity and Entrepreneurship conference because these topics are important to us as well. SEB Bank contributes to the country's technological progress and aims to promote the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in Lithuania. And we do this not only by developing mobile banking, digitalizing services, but also by developing the financial literacy of the country's youth or helping aspiring business people realize their ideas. Last year, the SEB Innovation Center started its activities, where we help small and medium-sized companies to innovate and grow, and this year we are becoming partners of the "Login" conference, which inspires thousands to create and share ideas, innovate and change", says SEB banka's board member, head of the retail banking service Vaidas Žagūnis.
SEB is the leading Nordic financial services group. SEB, as a bank with long-term relationships with customers, advises on financial issues and provides universal financial services in Sweden and the Baltic countries. Last year, the company opened the Innovation Center in Vilnius - a space for collaboration and innovation creation for financial and other innovative technology enthusiasts, startups and representatives of small and medium-sized companies aiming for rapid growth.
According to LOGIN director Indrė Petrauskė, SEB has always been an active implementer of innovations, keeping pace with trends, so the festival sees wide prospects for cooperation.
"Our cooperation with SEB is based on a common goal - the desire to spread innovation, promote entrepreneurship and find creative technological solutions for everyday and business processes," says the director of LOGIN. - These three main axes - business, technology and creativity - are also the basis of this year's festival, so we are happy to start a new partnership linked by a common vision. We believe that such a strong player in the field of innovation will bring even more fresh winds to the festival, and the festival will provide more space for innovative ideas to come true."
On the main stage of the LOGIN festival this year, we will see Christopher Wylie, whose publicized Cambridge Analytica scandal shook the social network Facebook, we will hear the stories of Shazam founder Dhiraj Mukherjeeir, who changed the music industry, and Andy King, the producer of the failed Fyre festival. Also, the former President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves will share his experience from the E-stonia government initiative, e. from voting to cybersecurity solutions, and UNICEF's Innovation Development Representative Kidus Asfaw will share the creative power of technology to solve third-party problems and other notable personalities.
