The Competition Council allowed the medical clinic chain "InMedica" to purchase the clinic of the Vilnius Implantology Center from the company "OP Grupė".
The Competition Council announced on Tuesday that it had authorized the acquisition of 100 percent of of the clinic's shares and take sole control of it.
"As a result of the proposed concentration, a dominant position will not be created or strengthened, or competition will be severely restricted in the relevant markets," the report states.
The clinic was founded in 2001. Currently, the company has 90 employees, it serves more than 30 customers a year. patients. Last year, the turnover of the company reached almost 7 million. euros.
The center's sole shareholder is now OP Group, which is owned equally by the clinic's founder Algirdas Puišys and another natural person.
45 percent InMedica's shares are managed by one of the largest private capital investment funds in the Baltic States, INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund, through the company BSGF Sanus, 40 percent. - Repharm, the largest Latvian private medical group and 15% - "Litgaja" company.
