Quarantine encouraged entrepreneurs to resort to ingenuity and implement unique ideas. The first virtual 3D furniture showroom was opened in Lithuania.
Buyers are invited to visit the virtual salons of the interior and exterior studio "Vipzone" in Vilnius and Beautiful, which occupy an area of about 1.000 square meters. Visitors can virtually walk around the showrooms and choose the products they want while sitting safely at home.
In the virtual tour, you can view thousands of products: several hundred outdoor and indoor furniture, see a large selection of massage spa pools, find a large selection of grills, gazebos, sun umbrellas, lamps and other accessories for the home.
You can not only see the goods, but walk around them virtually and make sure that it is really the goods you are looking for. And if the dimensions of your terrace or room are limited, by selecting the ruler function in the 3D program, you can easily find out very accurate dimensions of the goods of interest.
For most products, you can find more detailed information: price, dimensions, description of materials or a link that you can click on to learn more.
You can also walk around the furniture showrooms wearing 3D virtual reality glasses. And if questions arise, Vipzone managers invite you to contact them immediately by direct message, phone or customer-friendly channel. Managers are ready to advise both evening buyers and weekend visitors looking for goods.

Implemented the idea of the decade
"The quarantine forced the closure of shops. Many businesses are struggling. However, in the face of the crisis, many unique ideas are born or there is time to implement something that was invented a long time ago," admits Vipzone founder Vidmantas Bacys.
Back in 2007, the businessman had the idea to film the entire salon and transfer his video to the website. However, due to the limited technological capabilities of the website developers at that time, this idea did not seem attractive and worthy of attention, so it remained unimplemented.
"Since the beginning of this difficult period, we have received daily requests from customers to film or take photos of how one or another product looks live, from the side or from above, because the buyer is not satisfied with the photos prepared by the factory's designers. Sending information like this was not very convenient for us or our customers. Then I remembered my old idea about a virtual store. This time, deciding to invest was not difficult. After using the recommendations, we got to know Darius Gasiūnas, a 3D scanning specialist from Kėdainiai, who helped us implement this idea technically," says the entrepreneur.
Relief for designers too
Customers can easily find 3D showrooms on Vipzone's website, browse products in showrooms in different cities, choose furniture or other accessories for home and yard in just half an hour. This unique idea will also make the work of designers easier. It will be easier for them to coordinate time with their customers and view the products of interest together.
"This is a very convenient service for designers as well. At the same time, they can walk around the showrooms with their customers, look at the furniture, discuss and choose the most suitable ones according to the style of the house and the wishes of the owners. This unique feature saves a lot of time for everyone, so we will definitely use it in the future. We regularly update furniture collections and exhibitions, so everything will be available in our virtual showrooms," says the founder of Vipzone.
First impressions
Although "Vipzone" 3D salons have been operating for only a few days, V. Bacys is in a hurry to be happy with the first evaluations:
"It is still too early to say whether this idea can really replace existing salons." However, during this quarantine period, when customers cannot visit the salon, this is probably the best alternative. From the very first days, we have felt the interest of virtual visitors and real benefits not only for our company, but also for the client."
