"Rimi Lithuania" buying the "Iki" retail chain, five "Rimi" and 12 "Iki" stores in six cities should go to other retailers.
The Competition Council on Tuesday made public the content of the authorization granted for the transaction in mid-October, which includes a list of 17 stores. Sweden's ICA Gruppen, which manages Rimi Lietuva, undertook to transfer them to third parties within an undisclosed deadline.
It is intended to transfer in Vilnius On the Molėtai highway 49 "Rimi" store and 5 "Iki" stores - Vokiečių g. 13, Gedimina Ave. 28, Jerusalem g. 17, Antakalnio str. 73 and Lukšios g. 34.
Beautiful four "Iki" stores are to be transferred - Kovo 11-osios g. 67, Medvėgalio str. 23A, Raudondvarios pl. 166 and Baltijo st. 59. Klaipėda two "Iki" (Kretingas g. 83 and Liepojos g. 238) and Siorių pr. are planned to be abandoned. 15 in Rimi.

The timing of the closing of the transaction and the transfer of the 17th stores are confidential.
In mid-October, the Competition Council allowed Rimi Lietuva, managed by the Swedish ICA Gruppen, to acquire 100 percent of the company. shares of the company Palink, which manages the Iki shopping network, from the German Rewe Group and other shareholders.
ICA Gruppen said in mid-October that it would aim to close the deal later this year, but after delays in the process of selling the stores, it is expected to do so in the first quarter of next year.
"Iki" announces that it currently has 231 stores, "Rimi Lietuva" - 56.Maxima" the chain currently consists of 238 stores, "Norfa" - 144, "Lidl Lithuania" - 30.
