The sale of live Christmas trees begins

When the big cities of Lithuania are getting ready for Christmas tree lighting celebrations, Maximos stores are filled with the smell of greens. The Lithuanian retail chain starts selling live Christmas trees. Buyers of this shopping chain will be able to choose from almost 80 different Christmas trees, wreaths and compositions.

Live Christmas trees for everyone's pocket

"As the most beautiful holidays of the year are approaching, real St. The symbols of the Christmas holiday are living trees. And in the coming days, customers of the smaller, "X" format Maximos stores will also be able to purchase a live Christmas tree," shares Vilma Drulienė, Maximos' commercial manager.

This year, the Lithuanian retail chain offers its customers a total of 18 different types of Christmas trees and pine trees, of which even 15 came to the stores from Lithuanian nurseries. Other trees are Dutch. The selection includes common, spiny and Serbian Christmas trees, as well as Korean and balsamic Christmas trees. For the convenience of buyers, it will be possible to choose from both cut Christmas trees and pine trees, as well as those growing in pots.

Everyone will find the right choice for themselves in Maximos stores - the prices of live Christmas trees range from 7,99 euros for a silver Christmas tree in a pot with a height of 0,4-0,6 m to 24,99 euros for a balsam fir, also growing in a pot. Its peak will reach up to 1,6-1,8 m.

"Maxima's" sales data show that a total of 13 live Christmas trees and Christmas trees are sold in the months of November-December. pcs And when choosing a live Christmas tree, buyers usually buy one that reaches about a meter.

"Our customers appreciate the opportunity to purchase a live Christmas tree right there in the store, after stopping by for their usual shopping for food or household goods. This way, you don't need to go anywhere specially, and the prices of Christmas trees are reasonable. We have noticed that as soon as the sale of live Christmas trees begins, they immediately attract the interest of buyers, and in the middle of December the demand for live Christmas trees will reach its peak", says the head of sales at Maximos.

The assortment of live Christmas trees in Maximos stores is complemented by spruce branches, which are also perfect for decorating the home. About 3-5 thousand such branches are purchased in November-December. pcs And the price of one branch in "Maxima" is 2,69 euros.

"We offer our customers to decorate their homes and other spaces not only with live Christmas trees or fir branches. Over 20 different types of compositions from living plants await customers in the largest stores of our shopping network. These are handmade Christmas trees, wreaths, decorative compositions decorated with candles and various Christmas paraphernalia. The prices of such decor details vary from 2,69 to 19,99 euros", says V. Drulienė.

Christmas trees with non-disintegrating needles - from just 2 euros

According to Maxima's commercial manager, the demand for artificial Christmas trees begins to emerge in the second half of November and remains active until January.

"People don't wait for December more and more often and start taking care of festive, Christmas decor when November turns into the second half. It is not uncommon to start decorating the house gradually - candles find their place in the home spaces, Christmas garlands sparkle in the windows, and soon the Christmas trees also light up," she says.

This year, Maximos customers can choose from almost 30 different artificial trees. Their prices vary from 1,99 euros for a mini tree to 350 euros for an impressive Christmas tree reaching up to 3 m. During the festive period, in the months of November-December, "Maxima" buyers purchase about 17 thousand. artificial fir trees. And the most loved by buyers are Christmas trees reaching a height of about 0,5-1,5 m. Another extremely popular option is artificial branches with pine cones. During the Christmas period, buyers purchase about 2 thousand pcs such twigs.

"This year's novelty is trees already decorated with LED lights. LED garlands integrated into an artificial tree should appeal to people who want to bring a tree home and not worry about whether the already existing illuminated garland will really fit their Christmas tree - whether it will be too short or maybe a little too long. A 45 cm high artificial Christmas tree with an LED garland will cost 7,99, and a twice as tall tree will cost 16,99 euros," says V. Drulienė.

Next to the Christmas treesMaxima" offers to buy various toys, ribbons, garlands and other festive paraphernalia - every customer has the freedom to create endless original solutions. V. Drulienė hopes that the Christmas trees will be brightly lit both in the squares of Lithuanian cities and in the homes of "Maxima" customers.
