"Western Union" continues its expansion in Lithuania and on May 2. the fourth office building in Vilnius opened its doors. A Customer Experience Center was established there, where Lithuanian talents will contribute to improving the experience of customers of the international company "Western Union" all over the world.

This practice creates a long-term business culture and success," US Ambassador Anne Hall said on the occasion of the opening of the WU Customer Experience Center.
The Chancellor of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania Milda Dargužaitė, who visited the opening of the center, emphasized the company's contribution to the development of innovations. "Western Union" in Lithuania is changing not only the international "Western Union" company, but also the whole of Lithuania, customer experience and work culture. All companies, observing Western Union's activities, are forced to change in order to compete and attract employees. It is very nice to see the establishment of the Customer Experience Center, because it is from Lithuania that customer experience innovations will be created for the whole world," she said.
Western Union's Customer Experience Center provides opportunities for employees to feel like customers, service intermediaries and get acquainted with unique technological solutions that allow money transfers around the world in a few minutes. Tapping into unique customer experience will encourage process improvement and thus contribute to the growth and development of the Western Union company.
"Symbolically named "Mindaugu", the establishment of this center becomes an important step in the history of "Western Union" in Lithuania. "Mindaugas can be both our client and employee, but Mindaugas was also the first and only king in the history of Lithuania. This historical figure spread the word about Lithuania to the world. We will also spread the word about Lithuania's achievements", says Šarūnas Šuipis, head of Western Union in Lithuania.

The new Western Union building houses 900 employees. The opening of this building brought together the entire community of "Western Union" in Lithuania into one complex of business centers, and employees from the Perkūnkiem and Žirmūnai offices were transferred to it.
Currently, Western Union employs 1700 employees of 34 nationalities who speak 30 different foreign languages in Lithuania. The center carries out compliance with legal acts (Compliance), accounting and finance, digital services, operations, information technology, HR, marketing and other functions.
