The company "Mobilieji mokeijii", which has 33% shares held by Telia Lietuva is suspending its activities, Telia Lietuva announced through the Nasdaq Vilnius Stock Exchange.
It is reported that such a decision was taken by the shareholders of "Mobilieji mokejimai". Other shareholders of the company are "Tele2" and "Bitė Lietuva", each having 33 percent. shares.
The decision was taken after the shareholders' opinions differed regarding the development and future prospects of the MoQ mobile payment platform developed by Mobilieji mokejimai.
The provision of payment services is planned to be discontinued from May 18, and the MoQ app will also stop working at the same time.
It is emphasized that all money accumulated in active accounts will be returned to customers.
