Construction of a new residential complex "Romeo and Juliet" is underway in the Viršuliškės microdistrict of Vilnius, on Juozo Rutkausko Street. Real estate development company Groupinvest will invest more than 18 million euros in the project, and construction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The residential complex will consist of two apartment buildings – nine-storey building A and ten-storey building B. They will contain 157 apartments, the area of which will range from 30 to 68 sq. m. The project includes five commercial premises, a multi-level underground parking lot, common recreation, sports and children's play areas.
"These will be buildings with A++ energy efficiency class, with elevators and all the necessary infrastructure adapted for people with disabilities. We aim for the project to meet the needs of a modern city dweller - in terms of inclusion and functionality, as well as sustainability and energy efficiency," says Edvard Račevskij, director of the real estate development company Groupinvest.
The apartments in the apartment buildings will be sold partially finished. The project offers 1-3 bedroom apartments with balconies, suitable for various stages of life - from the first apartment for young couples to functional solutions for families or investment buyers. One of the key strengths of the project is the well-developed infrastructure of the entire residential area.
"The Viršuliškės microdistrict is one of those places in Vilnius where high-rise buildings are concentrated and a kind of metropolitan impression is felt. The choice of location for this project was determined by the well-developed and convenient infrastructure - public transport accessibility, nearby kindergartens, schools, shopping centers and green areas. The residential complex will soon border a new park, and work on the park is currently underway. Such an urban environment ensures residents not only daily functionality, but also a high quality of life,” says E. Račevskij.
A distinctive architectural highlight will be a 3-meter-high interactive light sculpture being created on the project territory. This object connects both buildings with a symbolic line of light; when the walls of both buildings are touched at the same time, the sculpture will light up. According to the developer, this symbolizes the connection and communion not only between the buildings, but also between the residents living in them.
