It's official, the "will be demolished in the near future"Males" business center in Saltoniškės. The fifteen-story, 60-meter-high green building is counting down its last months of existence.
About this "MadeInVilnius" wrote in August last year. This month, project proposals for the new business center were presented to the Vilnius City Municipality, which will be discussed at a public meeting with the public. The public discussion with the public will be organized remotely.
What will be built instead of the "pencil"?
The newly built six-story, 25,37-meter business center, designed by Audrius Ambrasas Architects, would have only one underground parking lot. However, an above-ground parking lot will remain in front of the building. It is planned that the business center will be able to accommodate 586 employees at a time.
The building's underground parking lot would accommodate 531 m2 area shelter, designed for 352 people. An emergency exit is planned from the shelter – a hatch outside the building's collapse zone. Additional greenery is also being arranged on the building's 6th floor terrace, where greenery will be arranged in flowerbeds of different heights, forming terraces.
