Today, the Lithuanian Chamber of Architects presented the athletics arena in Žirmūnų st. 1h, design proposals submitted to the open architectural project competition. 21 project proposals were submitted for the competition.
Vilnius city municipality, in order to regulate public relations in the field of architecture, to preserve the created environment and to create an environment of adequate quality and reflecting public interests, initiated a competition for the architectural project of a sports building - Athletics arena - on the plot of Žirmūnų St. 1H in November, aimed at evaluating the best architectural idea.
The estimated value of the object is about 15 million. Eur.
It is planned that about 500 athletes and representatives of other sports will train in the Athletics Manise.
The projects will be exhibited from July 2. On the second floor of the Union of Architects building, in the atrium (Kalvariju st. 1), you can view the exhibition: on working days, during working hours (9:17-XNUMX:XNUMX).
