We would like to remind you that the company "MB projektas" (UAB "Merko House” subsidiary company) organized the project "Multi-apartment residential complex Žalgirio st. 131, Vilnius" invitational closed one-stage architectural competition.
7 apartment buildings are being designed on the plot
"7 are being designed apartment buildings residential buildings. Construction is planned in three stages: construction stage I – parking lot and multi-apartment residential buildings A, B, F. -2 and -1 basement floors are assigned to construction stage I; Phase II of construction – blocks C, D, E of multi-apartment residential buildings; Phase III of construction - block of multi-apartment residential houses G. The buildings will be functionally separated from each other. For each building, separate accounting for the connection of engineering communications is expected," the project proposals say about the future multi-apartment residential complex.
In the design proposals, it is indicated that six buildings (A, B, C, D, E, F) are designed around the courtyard, G building is composed separately, near Utena Street, in the Northern part of the plot. The inner yard has a system of paths, a children's playground, a youth sports field and a recreation area for seniors. Outside, the areas are intended for plants. The building is composed on the basement floor, where it is planned to install an underground car storage room, a household waste collection room, bicycle storage rooms and other technical facilities necessary for the full functioning of the building. The entrance of cars to the storage facility is designed from the passage provided on the western side
There are fewer apartments in the revised design proposals
In 2022, we already wrote about the submitted ones project proposals. In the revised design proposals, which will be considered on October 5, the area of the entire complex has slightly decreased. The number of apartments was reduced to 296 (there were 343 apartments). The area of service premises (on the 1st floor) increased to almost 1364 square meters2 (was in 11172).
