In the summer of 2021, "Made in Vilnius" informed that "Darnu Group" next to Vilnius "Litexpo"exhibition hall and forest, on the bank of the Neris river, purchased five plots. They planned the construction of residential buildings with commercial premises. At that time, it was also reported that about 2 apartments will be offered to settlers in low-rise 4-900-story houses on these plots. However, in the company's updated report, it is indicated that in 2024, 680 apartments will be built on all five plots, in a new prestigious quarter near the Neris River and the Karoliniškii Nature Reserve.
The construction of this multifunctional residential complex is planned to be implemented in stages. For each phase, individual solutions would be prepared by different architectural groups.
Design proposals next to the Karoliniškii Nature Reserve, plots no. 3, 4 and 5, this part of the block is designed by two companies: "Vilnius Architecture Studio" and "Architektūros Linija". 375 apartments are expected to be built in this part.
Design proposals along the Neris river, in plots no. 1 and 2, implemented by UAB "313 Architects". This part would have 306 apartments.

Project on plot no. 4
As previously written, the general concept of the Darnu Group development block has already been approved Vilnius city municipalities. At the public meeting, project proposals will be discussed with the public, which will be implemented on plot number 4, at the address Parodų st. 11.
The design proposals indicate that two complexes "Vilų namai" and "Erčias namai" are being designed on the plot.
"The first "Villa House" complex will consist of ten similarly sized 3-4 storey houses. All buildings of the complex will be accessible from underground cars parking lots and from the inner courtyard. The plan structures of all volumes are similar: the apartments are designed around a central staircase with an elevator. The buildings have 13 apartments each in a 3-story house and 17 apartments in a 4-story house. 5 apartments are designed on the lower floors, and 2-3 apartments on the upper floor. Underground parking lot provided under the entire complex, except for a few areas where, in order to protect the existing trees, an underground parking lot is not provided. In building A of the villa, on the first floor, there is a place for a kindergarten.
Meanwhile, the volume of "Erčia namo" consists of three parts. Access to the building is possible from the underground parking lot and from the inner courtyard. The plan structures of all three parts are similar: the apartments are arranged around a central staircase with an elevator. 5-4 apartments are designed on the floor of each part. There is an underground parking lot under the entire building. Each above-ground part of the complex can be reached by elevator from the basement. The outer volumes can also be accessed via the evacuation staircase," the design proposals say about the future buildings.
Other companies will also develop apartment blocks and business centers
It seems that "Darnu Group" is not the only one who discovered this place and the real estate company "Realco" subsidiary UAB "Parodos" will take over. Parodu str. 1 will implement the construction of a new complex, where more than 600 apartments will be installed. Design proposals were prepared by Eventus Pro UAB.
Along the coast of Neris UAB "Kolerita", address Miškinių st. 4, will implement another multi-apartment block project, and it is planned to install more than 150 apartments. This quarter is designed by UAB "Architektūros linija".
"Vastint Lietuva" is also developing a business center in this partBusiness Garden" project. He also bought more plots in this part of the city.
A multifunctional complex with a new shopping and leisure center is being implemented on the other bank of the Neris River "Acropolis Vingis". Almost 600 apartments will be offered in this part of the city.
