Permission was obtained to build a kindergarten with a swimming pool and a salt room in Balsiai

A new kindergarten will be built in Balsiai - Vilnius city municipalities the administration issued a construction permit for this project. Rooms (offices) for children's groups are planned in the two-story building, and auxiliary rooms will be installed in the basement. It is said that it will be possible to educate 50 children in the building at the same time: on the first floor of the building there are 2 groups of kindergarten age children of 10 children each, on the second floor - 3 kindergarten groups of 10 children each. The first floor is also expected to be 40 m² gym. There is one children's playground within the boundaries of the plot.

Children will also have to use the playground near the shopping center

As already written in the design proposals, the building will house five groups of children at the same time and one playground will be adapted for one group of children. Other groups may occasionally need to use the public children's playground located near the Žalias shopping center.

"The children's playground within the plot meets the needs of one group, the other 4 groups will be able to use another space suitable for children's play, located near the Žalias shopping center. The space is approximately 250m from the kindergarten, and safety measures will be provided for children to go, return and stay in that space. Based on hygiene standards, an education provider educating up to 60 children may not have a playground on its territory, but use another space suitable for children's play," the project proposals state about the use of playgrounds.

A swimming pool and a salt room will be installed in the basement

In the basement, which will be accessible by both a staircase and a separate entrance from the outside, it is planned to install a food distribution room, a laundry room, an assembly hall, a sauna, a swimming pool and a salt room.
