Who would have thought that the Missionary Church near the bastion would become a part of the hotel. The ensemble of buildings of the Missionary Monastery of the capital, marked with number 26 on Subačiaus street, will be reconstructed and, as stated in the project proposal, transformed into a... hotel. The main client of the reconstruction is the VšĮ "Economist service of the Vilnius archbishopric".
The project proposals envisage the arrangement of the plot, restoring and supplementing the old system of paths and passages, where additional parking spaces will be installed to meet the needs of the hotel. It is also planned to install parking spaces for the transport of disabled people, as well as charging and parking spaces for electric cars.
It is expected that the church will become a conference and concert center, which will be equipped with a modern sound system. The purpose of all other buildings in the complex will be changed and reconstructed into a hotel.
The presentation of project proposals to the public is scheduled at the premises of the city municipality, Konstitucijos Ave. 3, on September 14.
