In 2022, "Made in Vilnius" wrote about the planned of a new apartment block Žirmūnai construction. The block is planned for Šeimyniškių st. Plot 33, where there are currently no buildings. Updated design proposals for this quarter were presented this year. The public hearing with the public will take place in the premises of the Žirmūnai precinct.
The planned plot is bordered by Šeimyniškių streets in the northern part, and Raitininkų streets in the western part. In the southern part of the plot with residential plots, Sporto st. 12, 10, 8 and Raitininkų st. 3rd and 5th houses.
What will change?
The design proposals indicate that the volume composition and architectural concept of the buildings will be adjusted, and the area of residential premises will be reduced (the number of apartments will decrease from 274 units to 224 units). Meanwhile, the amount of non-residential premises would be increased. The outline of the underground floor will also be adjusted.
The project will be implemented in stages
The project proposals envisage the construction of the block in two stages. The first floor will be dominated by commercial and other non-residential premises. In the volumes above these premises, as well as in the H and I buildings, residential premises are designed. An underground two-story parking lot will be installed for residents.
"The main purpose of the designed buildings is residential (apartment buildings residential houses). Commercial premises are planned in the northwestern part of the plot - a shopping center, with a sales hall and warehouse facilities planned in the central part of the building. The height of these rooms is 5,9 m. 13-15 units are also planned in the remaining rooms on the first floors of the facades of Šeimyniškių and Raitininkai streets. commercial (trade, service, catering, treatment, sports or recreation) premises.
The premises are designed not lower than 3,5 m, with a universal plan, adapted for various purposes, which will be refined during the technical project according to the needs of specific tenants.
Apartments of various sizes are being designed from the second floor in the street blocks and all floors of the courtyard blocks. The buildings are planned in a sectional type, one staircase with an elevator is planned, which connects the above-ground volumes with the underground parking lot. All apartments are planned with balconies or terraces.
Individual apartments over two floors are also planned on the roof of the retail premises, to which access is planned through the staircase of the adjacent buildings and the operational roof," the project proposals say about the future apartment block.
