vArmour, a leading communications management software developer, has announced the establishment of its newest software development center in Vilnius. The area of specialization of this center will be the development of third-party integration with IT infrastructure technologies. This will enable the company to better utilize its core capabilities in discovering, monitoring and controlling application, user and data communications across a variety of IT environments.

vArmour is a multi-cloud security company based in California. The company's global customer base includes major banks, financial services companies, telecommunications and content service providers, healthcare systems, manufacturers and regulated infrastructure service providers.

Since its founding in 2011, this Silicon Valley company has focused on minimizing the impact of cyber security and controlling enterprise risk. By constantly innovating and focusing on the customer, the company has improved its solutions, taking into account the changing technologies and customer needs. The company partners with market leaders such as Amazon and Microsoft to provide resiliency monitoring services and a security platform to help control operational risk, increase application resilience and hybrid cloud security.

"Our company's success is based on two interrelated trends - a significant increase in sophisticated cyberattacks and ransomware and the strong growth of cloud computing," said Keith Stewart, senior vice president of engineering and products at vArmour. - We create innovative solutions that help us respond to these trends in the most effective way."

vArmour helps enterprises discover, monitor and control connections between users, applications, infrastructure and data. For companies looking to implement Zero Trust architectures to protect against sophisticated cyber attacks, analyzing communications is a critical first step. The company has already acquired 36 patents for its services.

The application development center in Lithuania is one of the most important development initiatives of vArmour, and this center will become the main headquarters of the company in Europe. After evaluating various locations in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, the company "vArmour" chose Lithuania for its activities in the field of technology and cyber security. Company representatives explain that Lithuania was chosen due to convenient connections with EU countries, high-level universities that provide an opportunity to attract talented, highly qualified software and infrastructure engineers, engineering leaders, product owners and Scrum masters, and other partners based in Lithuania.

vArmour also announced its intention to enter into partnerships with Lithuanian universities to implement internships and advanced training programs and to empower new university graduates with technical, business development and sales skills.

"Increasing threats to the security of cloud computing platforms will only further encourage the search for solutions to overcome them," says "Invest in LithuaniaCEO Elijus Čivilis. - There is no shortage of highly qualified, dedicated IT specialists in Lithuania, which is why our country is an attractive place for technology companies, and will undoubtedly help the vArmour company to create innovative and effective solutions to overcome these threats."

Founded in 2011, the company develops new ways to protect data and computer programs in large-scale computing and network environments. vArmour has since expanded into North America, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Asia-Pacific, and continues to expand rapidly in all of these regions. During the 2020-2021 period, the company's annual growth was 75 percent.
