The global fertilizer production and supply company "Yara International" announced its intention to expand the European business service center "Yara EBS" in Vilnius. 130 financial specialists are expected to be employed in the financial services division by the end of this year.

Currently, more than 360 activity planning, export coordination, customer service, transport coordination, procurement, business analytics and robotics specialists work in the center of Vilnius.
Lars Enge, financial director of Yara Europe, says that the concentration of customer service and transport management activities in Vilnius was beneficial, therefore, when considering where to create a new European financial operations unit, it was decided to further expand the European Business Services Center operating in Vilnius.
"I have no doubt that the concentration of finance-related activities in Vilnius will prove to be a great solution," he said.
Yara, whose head office is located in Oslo, opened an office in Lithuania in 2018. He provides logistics services to the company's divisions in Europe, and he also develops complex data and business analytics solutions.
