The business service center of the Norwegian fertilizer giant "Yara International" will be located in Vilnius - in the second building of the "Park Town" office complex, near Geležinių vilkos street and Constitution Avenue intersection, BNS was approved by the real estate development company "Darnu group" (former "MG valda") developing the project.
"Our vision is for this center to take care of all steps of the company's logistics: from planning, orders and customer service to ensuring transport," said Paul Lucas, head of installation of Yara Lietuvos' business service center, in a comment to BNS.
According to him, the company chose from three office buildings in Vilnius.
At the end of 2018, "Darnu group" and "Yara Lietuva" signed a contract for 4,4 thousand sq. meters of premises for rent. It will be the building's largest tenant.
This summer, the company will establish a business service center for Europe in the building. It is planned that 95 people will work there at the beginning, and their number is expected to increase to 200 by the end of the year.
Yara International's plans to create a transport and logistics operations center in Vilnius were announced last July. It was then announced that the center, which is planned to employ about 250 people, will coordinate the supply of products to the company's customers in Europe.
Yara International has more than 16 thousand employees and works in more than 50 countries. More than a third of the company's shares are owned by the Norwegian government, its shares are listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
The construction of the second building of the "Park Town" office complex on Lvovo Street in Vilnius is scheduled to be completed this summer. The first building was completed in 2017, Darnu group will invest 40 million in them. euros.
