On June 20, "Western Union Lithuania" received the main award for the application of robotic process automation solutions during the Shared Services Summit & Awards held in New York. Such recognition reflects not only Western Union's activities, but also the general trend in the Lithuanian service center industry, where more than 80 percent centers apply robotization solutions.
Western Union Lithuania competed with EY GBS, Amer Sports and IBA Group for the award for the application of robotics solutions in the CEE region.
Annual event brought together more than 140 top executives from 79 global companies, including Johnson & Johnson, NASDAQ, Morgan Stanley and Pfizer.
Service centers operating in Lithuania are classified as products that create high added value, and even a third of the centers belong to IT companies. Four out of five centers are already using next-generation robotics solutions.
