The latest generation of Google Pixel smartphones and wearable devices can be officially purchased in Lithuania as of today, Tuesday. Thanks to the exclusive partnership with Telia and Avitela, Google officially presents the latest range of Pixel 9 smartphones, Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones to the Lithuanian market.

Straight from Google's engineering workshop, the Pixel is the only phone that combines cutting-edge hardware, Google's Gemini models, the Android operating system, and Google's artificial intelligence.

New Tensor G4 chip

Today, Google introduced new phones: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. All of them use Google's brand new Tensor G4 chip. In addition, the new phones are twice as durable as the Pixel 8. For the first time, the Pro model comes in two different sizes: the Pixel 9 Pro with a 6,3-inch screen and the Pixel 9 Pro XL with a 6,8-inch screen. Apart from screen size and power, the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL share the same technical specifications and features. Both feature Google's best and brightest Super Actua displays yet and a new 42-megapixel front-facing camera for even sharper photos, even in low light. Google's new flagships also feature an updated design, with a silky matte glass back and polished metal sides to give it a premium feel.

The Pixel 9 has a lot of updates. The 6,3-inch Actua screen is 35 percent. brighter than the Pixel 8 and rated as the best display in its class. The Pixel 9 has a primary and ultrawide camera, just like the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. The ultra-wide-angle lens has been greatly improved in the new models, from the 12-megapixel Pixel 8 to the 48-megapixel camera in the Pixel 9. All Pixel 9 phones get better over time, with each phone getting seven years of OS, Pixel Drops and security updates.

Plenty of AI options

Google Pixel 9 phones use the Tensor G4, Google's most powerful chip yet, designed to improve everyday user experiences like opening apps or browsing the web. The Pixel 9 Pro also comes with the Google One AI Premium plan, which allows you to use Gemini Advanced for the first year at no cost. With this plan, users get access to even more powerful AI features and can experience Gemini directly in their favorite Google products like Gmail and Docs.

Google has also added more AI features for photo editing. With the Add Me feature, users will be able to take a group photo that includes everyone in the group, including the person taking the photo, so there's no need to set up a tripod or ask a stranger for help. Additionally, Google has redesigned the feature “Panorama” for detailed photos even in low light. It's the best low-light Panorama feature on any smartphone. What's more, Magic Editor can now automatically crop a photo or expand it to create an additional background. And with the popular "Best Take" feature, users will be able to choose their favorite photo of the group by combining all similar photos. The feature is able to find the best moment or allows the user to choose the best expression for each.

Pre-sales of the phones start today

"Pixel 9", "Pixel 9 Pro" and "Pixel 9 Pro XL" can be pre-ordered in Lithuania already today from 919 euros (Pixel 9), from 1119 euros (Pixel 9 Pro) and from 1229 euros ( Pixel 9 Pro XL"). August 22 Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL will appear on the shelves of Google's exclusive partners Telia and Avitela. Meanwhile, the Pixel 9 Pro will hit stores in September.

Each Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL purchase comes with 3 months of YouTube Premium at no cost to new YouTube Music or YouTube Premium users, and 6 months of Fitbit Premium subscription for new Fitbit Premium users. Additionally, with every Pixel 9 purchase, new Google One users will receive a 6-month Google One AI Premium 2TB subscription free of charge. Meanwhile, with the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL, new users of the Google One AI Premium plan will get a one-year subscription.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 AI-ready headphones

The latest Google Pixel headphones, the Pixel Buds Pro 2, feature the Tensor A1 chip for the first time, delivering the best sound quality and Google's AI capabilities. Based on 45 million scanned ear data points, Google designed the Pixel Buds Pro 2 with a new swiveling, adjustable stabilizer to keep the earbuds in place during workouts for maximum personal comfort and a secure fit.

Thanks to the Tensor A1's active noise cancellation with Silent Seal™ 2.0 function, the new headphones are able to cancel up to two times more noise than before. Pixel Buds Pro 2's multi-processing gives music a separate signal path. This allows it to bypass the Silent Seal™ processing circuit to deliver unaltered, pure sound to the speaker sensors. This is quite rare even in high-end headphones, and the result is accurate and immersive sound, with even better noise cancellation.

Users can always find their headphones using the new Find My Device network. In addition, Google has added a speaker to the charging case of the Pixel Buds to make it even faster to find lost headphones. Even more convenience is provided by the fact that from now on, users no longer need to take out their headphones to talk to others. The AI-powered conversation detection function understands when you start talking, so music playback is paused, and when the conversation ends, the music automatically resumes and the active noise cancellation function is activated again.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are available for pre-order today at exclusive Google retail partners Telia and Avitela, starting at €249. The headphones will be available for purchase in partner stores from September 26.

Google Pixel Watch 3: Bigger, brighter and more interactive

The Pixel Watch 3 is the biggest leap forward for Google's flagship smartwatch, with a unique design and even better performance. The watches are now available in two sizes (41mm and 45mm) and feature a larger screen than ever before, giving them even more room for more information that's easy to see. In addition, the new watches have built-in pulse loss detection, which can potentially save the wearer's life. Both the original 41mm watch and the all-new larger 45mm watch feature Google's cutting-edge Actua displays that are twice as bright as before, perfect for viewing your running stats on a sunny day, but also adaptable for use in dark environments such as the cinema .

To make training and exercise easier, the Pixel Watch 3 introduces three new features: daily readiness, cardio and target cardio. The improved Daily Readiness algorithm monitors and analyzes the body's key recovery biometrics to give users a picture of how ready their body is to train each day. The cardio function helps you track heart rate and intensity, while the target cardio function provides personalized training recommendations based on the latest user data.

The Pixel Watch 3 includes a six-month subscription to Fitbit Premium for new users to get more in-depth insights, running and training recommendations and insights.

Pulse loss detection function

The Pixel Watch 3 features a first-of-its-kind heart rate loss detection feature. It is designed for emergency medical situations where every minute counts. Unfortunately, it is often needed when a person is alone. The loss of pulse detection feature can automatically call emergency services and share an automated message with critical circumstances and location. This feature will be available on the Pixel Watch 3 in various European countries in September. Google will continue to work with regulators to make this feature available in more countries.

The Pixel Watch 3 41mm is available for pre-order today starting at €399 (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi). The new 45mm watch starts at €499 (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) and is available at Google's exclusive retail partners Telia and Avitela.
