The technology and innovation festival LOGIN 2019 announces the start of the LOGIN internet awards and invites you to nominate innovative internet projects and the most deserving people for the development of internet culture in our country. Companies and individuals can submit their best projects to a total of 26 categories by May 24. The winners, who will be determined only by the votes of the commission, will be revealed on the first day of the festival - June 6.Litexpo" at the upcoming award ceremony.
"You need to be proud of digital progress not silently or staying in virtual space, but loudly among all like-minded and following tech culture of progress in our country. The honoring of significant projects reveals the best ideas of our country's minds and we believe that it sets the tone for the progress of the entire market and encourages us to push ourselves, says LOGIN festival director Indrė Petrauskė. - Being the only digital culture progress awards held in Lithuania, we encourage all market participants to show their best work of the year, projects, initiatives or revolutionary ideas, thus simultaneously encouraging the continuous improvement of the entire market."
This year, there are 26 categories in the list of Internet Awards nominations, consisting of 7 main ones: "Websites", "Mobile applications", "Video", "Internet advertising and marketing", "Social media space", "Games culture" and "Best of the year". "categories. In the latter, "Startup of the Year", "Innovation of the Year", "Podcast Creator of the Year" tech event”, Women in Tech of the Year and Lifetime Achievement in Tech. An unlimited number of works can be nominated, and the same project can be nominated and compete for an award in different categories.
Candidates for the title of the best will be evaluated according to the novelty, surprise and originality of the submitted idea, effective application and functionality, promotion of progress, achieved goals and results, and visual presentation.
The director of the festival, I. Petrauskė, also notes that there will be changes in the awards this year. "We have decided to choose the winners this year only with the votes of a commission consisting of experts from technology or IT-related fields. We believe that this will give the awards even more objectivity, by evaluating each project individually according to the same criteria."
Projects and individuals can be submitted for all nominations until 2019. May 24 At 23.59:14 p.m., it will not be possible to nominate works after that, and the voting of the commission, consisting of XNUMX members - from IT, web pages, advertising, communication, creativity, social media, design experts to the most successful startups and business founders - will begin. Commission members will not be able to vote for their own nominated projects, if any.
