Shortly after the New Year, on January 29, the new 7500 square meter "The V SPA" center will open its doors on the territory of the Vilnius Grand Resort hotel. In this way, "Vilnius Grand Resort" will become the first resort hotel in Vilnius county providing all spa procedures, sports, beauty and wellness services. "The V SPA", which is the closest to the Vilnius International Airport, will claim to turn the country's capital into a serious alternative to Druskininkai and Biršton.
The new "The V SPA" center is located surrounded by nature and lakes, but the biggest advantage is that Vilnius is within reach, its residents will no longer have to drive far to the nearest resort, and guests from other countries and cities will have the opportunity to spend a meaningful rest - together with a spa procedures to also visit the capital's old town, events, business and entertainment centers. This will be the first attempt to combine spa and wellness tourism together with a cultural and educational program in the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius", says Albert Zinevič, Director of Sales and Marketing of Vilnius Grand Resort.
On January 29 the amount invested in the opening of "The V SPA" is more than 12 million. euros, including construction, decoration, installation costs and all the most modern service equipment. Half of this amount was invested by the owner and founder of the entire "Vilon City" complex B. Brahms, a businessman of Lithuanian origin from London, the other part of the investment was covered by the bank. It is planned that the investment will pay off in the next ten years.
"The new spa will significantly expand the hotel's clientele. We expect that the majority of customers will come from other cities and stay with accommodation, while we will offer Vilnius residents a new alternative for a one-day trip. We predict that 60 percent customers will be Lithuanian residents, and 40 percent - foreign guests from neighboring countries and Europe", says Albert Zinevič, Director of Sales and Marketing of Vilnius Grand Resort.
The new spa will combine four groups of wellness services: sports, water treatments, beauty and wellness services. The V SPA center will have two different pool areas, 6 saunas, 24 treatment rooms, healthy food Japanese restaurant and a bar, sports club and 48 additional new hotel rooms to an international five-star standard. Up to 100 people will be able to use the services of The V SPA center at the same time.
"The V SPA" was designed by the team of Lithuanian architects "Ponama". All the main installation works of the building are currently already completed, the official opening date is scheduled for January 2020, 29. "The variety of activities and modernity made it necessary to find a suitable definition of space, where the main focus would be on people and their well-being. In addition, when creating the project, we thought in a complex way, so that the harmonious materiality and the dominant palette of natural colors would be maintained during the development of the entire area," says Natalija Baran, one of the team's architects.
In addition to the new "The V SPA" center, the 280-hectare territory of "Vilon City" is home to one of the first hotels in the capital, "Vilnius Grand Resort", a golf course and a club. restaurants, a thousand residential units are planned, some of which have already been built and occupied. Residents of these houses use spa services under exceptional conditions.
